The St. Thomas More Society of Central Indiana is a non-profit society formed by Catholic lawyers in Indianapolis and the surrounding area. Its mission is to provide a means of fostering the spiritual, intellectual and professional growth of its members. The Society seeks to inspire those intellectual, spiritual and moral qualities which were exemplified in the life of its Patron Saint, Thomas More. To that end, the Society sponsors the annual Red Mass, hosts regular meetings, provides continuing legal education, and co-hosts other activities in affiliation with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
The Society is open to lawyers and judges who strive to develop the relationship between their faith and law and to encourage civility in the profession. We also offer auxiliary memberships to non-lawyers and to non-Catholic lawyers and judges.
